Seems like a lot of $$$ for 7000 hour 2wd, but it's an 85 PTO HP tractor with nice A/C cab. And 34' rear rubber on adjustable axle. Only problem I have had was had to replace a trans. Neutral switch.
$70.00 Other wise not one problem. Mine had a tough life before I bought it with 700 hrs.
Guy before me drove it in shed with cab door open and busted it. So then he left it sit out in weather and rain ruined upholstery. Door and hardware which he lost and some cab foam end up costing me around $1500 as I recall. I deducted it from the price I paid. Ad is right about that Perkins engine being bullet proof. I've had 2 combines and 2 tractors with Perkins and never spent a nickel on anyone of them.

One thing I will concede about Perkins is they all seam kinda doggy. Yes it looks like that engine may be the later version of what was used in my AC 175 diesels that are very economical for me. They just added a turbo which is probably why it is a little doggy, otherwise mine have a good snap to them.at least compared to the Deere 3010 I owned for a couple of months. Is the power shift two speed pretty smooth on them? Do you find it useful?

But not bad ether as it is such a small percent bump up or down. Don't get me wrong.
I use the 2-speed a lot because it is there but could get along fine without it. Thing goes down the road at 24 mph. Which is nice if you have to travel much. Cab is one of the nicest you could ever have. Quiet and solid.
I don't know if that is a good price or not. I do know if you bought it you would love it.

I do know if you bought it you would love it. I am wondering if the two speed would be useful for turning around at the end of fields without throttling back when I am brushhogging? I'm not by the operator manual right now and I don't know if it tells the percent reduction anyway. But in road gear it reduces it from 24 mph. To 18 if that helps. If that is accurate, 5 mph would go to 3.75.which would be great for my application.
